Winter Storm Fun

So this year on Christmas Eve we were hit with a good sized snow storm that dumped a ton of snow. Seeing as how this was our last winter in Minnesota we had to get out and play in it. It was Gabriel's first time playing in the snow and he didn't quite know what to think about it.
Here Gabriel was putting on all his layers and his new snow pants.

Papi and Gabriel both suited up and ready to go.

At first Gabriel was confident...

until he fell face first in the cold, wet snow.

Here I was trying to teach him how to walk in the snow. Lift the foot out of the snow, then down, up high, then down and repeat. He didn't catch on very quickly and ended up falling down several more times.

By the end of the day Gabriel was having a blast with Papi and he didn't want to go inside. On Christmas day we were blessed with even more snow and Gabriel was able to go out and play again and he absolutely loved it. He even got to sled down our little hill by the house. What great memories to take with us when we move to Seattle.
