The first thing I want to post are my pictures from Easter and our trip that we took up to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. Since Gabriel is still a little young we didn't plan anything big for Easter, no Easter basket, no chocolate bunnies, boring I know. We did take Gabriel to an Easter egg hunt that one of the families in our ward was having and it was cute to watch him walk around and find the eggs and candy. Here are a few pictures from the egg hunt.
It's amazing how quickly Easter egg huts are over. Were were there a total of ten minutes and all the eggs had been found, opened, and candy was being consumed by the handfuls. I so gland that Gabriel still doesn't know what candy is and he was probably the only child there who was not interested in what was inside the eggs.
This next set of pictures is from a trip we took up to the Skagit Valley which is only about twenty minutes north of us, to go to the annual Tulip Festival. We didn't know what to expect but once we arrived at one of the farms we could see why it draws such a large crowd this time of year. I'm so glad we decided to go check it out. It was such a beautiful sight.
This was the display that they had inside the pavilion. There were beautiful murals painted on the walls behind the many displays of tulip varieties. It was quite an amazing sight. This was a great trip and may be one we decide to repeat each year.
WOW! great pictures. How beautiful!
